Good News for Vancouver area Vasculitis Patients!
Patient meeting set for November 25, 2015 and New Vasculitis Clinic set to open January 18, 2016!

Vasculitis Foundation Canada (VFC), is pleased to announce a meeting for GPA and other vasculitis patients has been organized for the Vancouver area at 6PM on Wednesday, November 25, 2015.
The meeting will start at 6PM sharp and run until about 8:30PM and will feature Dr. Natasha Dehghan, a Vancouver based specialist in Vasculitis. Dinner and refreshments (non alcoholic), are included for a cost of just $25. This is a great opportunity to meet and greet other patients, who share and understand your disease.

The dinner meeting is a great opportunity to catch up with members, meet new people who understand your disease, exchange news, ask questions or just sit back and listen. Our goal is to create a safe, comfortable environment where we can share our successes and challenges. You are welcome to bring a guest – our families and friends need our support as much as we need theirs.

VFC is also pleased, and excited, to announce Canada’s third Vasculitis Clinic, with up-to-date resources, is coming to Vancouver on January 18, 2016 at the Mary Pack Arthritis Centre (part of Vancouver Coastal Health).
The clinic will be headed up by Dr. Natasha Dehghan who has specialized training in Vasculitis. The clinic will only be the third of its kind in Canada that will offer specialized care, the most current treatment options, be associated with the CanVasc network ( http://www.canvasc.com ), and will offer access to select clinical trials in conjunction with the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium (VCRC http://www.rarediseasesnetwork.org/VCRC/about/index.htm ), a U.S./Canadian vasculitis research group.
Although the Clinic is still about two months from opening vasculitis patients are encouraged to seek out the clinics specialized resources even on a supplemental or semi-regular basis while maintaining full contact with their current Doctors.
