The VFC 28th anniversary picnic, fun social event, and “26 Reasons to Walk/Run/Ride” fundraiser will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2026 from 11 AM to 4 PM. As in the past, the Dolph picnic area at Riverside Park, 49 King Street West, Cambridge, Ontario will be our location.
We want you and your family to attend, and we encourage you to participate in any way you can. Join the picnic fun and the optional Walk/Run/Ride to raise vasculitis awareness and funds for research, education, and education. Enjoy your choice of a tasty wrap, salads, chips, and drinks. Try your luck in a 50:50 draw, silent auction, door prizes, and fun entertainment. Donated prizes for the silent auction are always needed and welcome. Please let us know if you can contribute.
This year’s picnic will feature Cambridge’s own Hudson and Cole Comedy in Motion 2.0! It’s next level juggling and acrobatics with a dose of comedy. Click here or here for more info. Join us for some great family fun with an “all-ages” entertainment you don’t see every day!

- In-Person! Your family and friends are welcome to join us Saturday, June 20th for the picnic, and/or the “26 Reasons to walk/run/ride”. Please register everyone by June 19th at 5 PM on the registration website by clicking here.
And, we’d love you to raise funds for research, education, and awareness using the “26 Reasons to walk/run/ride” VFC donation page here. Even better, set up your own campaign website (it’s easy to do!), by clicking here. Then follow the prompts and reach out to family and friends to support your fund-raising efforts! Your donors support you and they get an immediate VFC tax donation receipt by email!
If online donations are not your thing, you can collect donations using our downloadable donation sheet by emailing contact@vasculitis.ca. You can start signing up sponsors and collecting donations anytime! - Make Your Own Local Campaign! Unable to join us in Cambridge on June 20th? You can still make your own “26 Reasons” fundraising campaign wherever you are, and your family and friends are welcome to join in your campaign! To help you raise donations, set-up your own “26 Reasons to walk/run/ride” campaign website (easy to do!), by clicking here and then follow the prompts under “create a team”!
Your donors support you and they get an immediate VFC tax donation receipt by email! You can set up your own campaign anywhere, anytime, but all campaigns end December 31, 2026! Be creative, you have lots of time to plan your very own campaign!
