Even though the PEXIVAS study stopped recruiting GPA and MPA patients a couple of years ago there are still things that continue to be learned from the study, and there are new questions that have arisen as a result of that important study. For example, researchers now want to learn more about how GPA and MPA patients weigh specific pros and cons of treatment options\u00a0that include plasma exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>OPTIONS Vasculitis<\/span> survey (or <\/span>O<\/span>ptions and <\/span>P<\/span>references for <\/span>T<\/span>reatments <\/span>informing recommendations<\/span> S<\/span>tudy in <\/span>Vasculitis ), <\/span>is focused on finding out how patients with GPA and MPA feel about the treatments they may be offered. <\/span>OPTIONS Vasculitis<\/span><\/strong> is being organized by researchers and patients from Canada, Switzerland, the U.K., and the U.S.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are a GPA, or MPA, patient, please complete a survey about\u00a0plasma exchange for the treatment of <\/span>ANCA\u00a0 associated vasculitis<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0kidney disease!<\/span><\/h4>\n

This study seeks to understand\u00a0how patients\u00a0with ANCA associated vasculitis and kidney disease\u00a0view the\u00a0benefits and harms of plasma exchange.<\/p>\n
