Researchers want to find out about any issues people have with getting the care they need for their vasculitis condition. \u00a0This includes finding out what things may affect their health (like: how long it took to reach a diagnosis, who diagnosed you, the number of visits to emergency, hospital stays, drug coverage\/plans, housing, food insecurity, ability to travel etc.).<\/h2>\n<p>Online patient surveys have proved to be a new and very effective tool to quickly get your feedback on issues that are important to vasculitis patients. \u00a0<strong>Now we need your help with a\u00a0new survey that hopes to identify more issues, on a deeper level, that impact vasculitis patients like you.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>On behalf of Dr. Elaine Yacyshyn<\/strong>\u00a0and her research team in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta\u00a0<strong>I encourage all vasculitis patients over the age of 18 to complete this new and\u00a0anonymous online survey.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are some\u00a0<strong>important details<\/strong>\u00a0about this new survey and study.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Title of the study:\u00a0\u00a0National Vasculitis Access Survey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the study<\/strong>:\u00a0Researchers want to find out about any issues people have with getting the care they need for their vasculitis condition. \u00a0This includes\u00a0<strong>finding out what things may affect their health (like: how long it took to reach a diagnosis, who diagnosed\u00a0you, the number of visits to emergency, hospital stays, drug coverage\/plans, housing, food insecurity, ability to travel etc.),<\/strong> and your ability to access healthcare. \u00a0What you tell us will help researchers become aware of what needs to be improved in your vasculitis care to better meet your needs and the needs of others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who should be a part of this study:<\/strong>\u00a0We are looking for participants who are over the age of 18 who have been diagnosed with vasculitis. \u00a0This survey, and study, is for vasculitis patients who access vasculitis care within the Canadian healthcare system, and for\u00a0Canadian participants only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to be a part of the study:<\/strong>\u00a0If you wish to be a part of this study, please complete the online survey by clicking on the link below.\u00a0<strong>The survey should take you about 30 minutes\u00a0to complete.<\/strong>\u00a0You do not have to answer any questions that you do not want to answer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your privacy:<\/strong>\u00a0The information that you will share will remain completely private and will be used only for the purpose of this study.\u00a0<strong>You will not be asked for your name or
